On Thursday, May 2, Rachna S. Korhonen, the U.S. Consul General, hosted an unveiling of the designs for the International Schools Group’s (ISG) new campus.
The select group of invitees included members of the Ministry of Education, Rashed Abdul Rahman Al Rashed & Sons Group and the ISG Board of Trustees. Jason Burnside of GAJ, an award-winning architectural firm with expertise in the design of international schools in the Middle East, revealed a modern, eco-friendly campus that blends state-of-the-art design with the evolving needs of the 21st century learner.
The new site is in the up-and-coming area of Aziziyah and has been developed by the Al Rashed Group. Located adjacent to the Canary Vista Compound off Khalediyah Road, it is within close proximity to Dhahran, Dammam and Khobar.
The campus is being built over an area of 70,000 square meters. The schools have been designed to incorporate the latest aspects of modern-day design while ensuring that they will be fit for purpose for everyday use as a modern educational facility. Once constructed, the new ISG school campus will be the premier educational facility of its type in the Eastern Province of KSA.
