In light of the security incidents in the Dhahran area on Sunday evening, all staff and students were asked to work from home on Monday. I appreciate your understanding with the sudden change, as I prefer to exercise an abundance of caution when it comes to the security and well-being of anyone in our community.
As you know, we have been bringing limited groups of students back to our schools for assessment. As I also indicated last week, we received a very warm visit from the Ministry of Education to our Dhahran campus.
While the Ministry understands the value of bringing students back on campus and the many benefits to them with in-person assessments, they have indicated in a formal letter that our current plan falls outside their specific requirements. With this in mind, we will not be holding on campus student assessments until further notice. I will continue to work with the Ministry in an attempt to bring students back on campus for assessments.
Please note that in terms of ISG provided childcare for teachers, we will be in touch with an update on any changes to current arrangements.
Finally, I would like to wish all of you a very restful and safe spring break.
