Sports Day was a huge success!
Students participated in an inter-house sports quiz to start the day, followed by student-led warm-ups in each of the four houses.
Divided into combined year groups students rotated around three activities in the course of the day. Dodgeball proved to be a popular activity for the majority of the students. The Capture the Flag and Benchball rotation provided some great competition between the houses with all of the results contributing to the overall house points for the day.
The main event for each group was the athletics with nearly every student competing in a range of track and field events. Competition for points was fierce and some fantastic races were run. In the end, only 50 points separated the houses from first to fourth place.
The day ended with the traditional tug-of-war competition between the houses and eventually between the students and the teachers.
Well done to everyone who competed and thanks to the many students, teachers and support staff who helped make the day a success
