The recent 24 Hour Drama proved once again to be a wonderful showcase for student talent. This year's event saw two performances from the GCSE group, the first a dark 'Black Mirror' style piece about a dystopian world, and the other, 'Wellington', a take on the murder/mystery genre. Both were excellent examples of this talented group's work. The A level students' brilliant piece was an extract from J.B. Priestley's 'An Inspector Calls' using Brechtian devices to explore parallels with today's Me Too campaign. Finally, Middle School students created a thought-provoking, cleverly delivered piece around the theme of Time. Attending audiences at both the Saturday and Sunday performances agreed that these were terrific examples of the creative talents found at ISG.
